Those sub numbers will be wrong, very wrong, if the anecdotal evidence is correct. There are distributors out there selling phones now at a much more rapid pace (CME Marine, e.g.) or who are now aware of the product and are selling it. This has to add up. I guess 35000 subs (start of exponential growth +22000 from last q) with 7MM MOUs for the Q.

THE REAL QUESTION, I am starting to fear, IS MORE ONE OF LAG TIME WITH REGARD TO THE ACTUAL DATA. I didn't get my first statement from Stratos until two full months after I had service. My credit card wasn't tapped until THREE months after I started service. I am wondering now if there is a lag between MOU generation and reporting from SP to G* that understates the current amount of MOUs and subs and growth rate. Does anyone know the answer to this question?

Mark,

I hope you just lost a couple zero's and a decimal point (I'm from the USA. If you prefer that you lost a comma, that is fine.).

For 25k subs to get 10k mou's, they must each be averaging .4 mou's per quarter (I presume your mou prediction was for the entire quarter). If we assume 40 mou's per month for a quarter (I'm long, so I'll assume that we had all 25k subs for the whole quarter) we get:

40 X 3 X 25000 = 3MM mou's for the quarter
