Paul, the late diversion between the negative tic on the Naz and the Trin under 1.00 may be an initial indication that you may be right. Earlier in the day 9actually around 1:00 PM, the time I was finally able to watch the market for a short time), the Trin and the Tic were congruent. My problem is that if there is enough liquidity to fuel a rally in the Naz, then the NYSE numbers should have indicated a better closing tone, after a 100 point rally in the Dow from its own low. It did not, so, I must say, there is no clear indication where we go. We'll see tomorrow morning if the futures are followed by the stocks (g).
