Ted <If Intel is managing the street, I think it must be behind the scenes.>

To an extent. No one REALLY wants to see Intel fall on their faces. The thing is, brokerage firms can always hype Intel - no matter how bad the paper launches are - and people will still buy it. Nobody except people following semis know anything about what is discussed on these boards. Occasionally something is brought to light, then swept under the carpet.

It will take at LEAST until year's end until AMD gains REAL respect ... if by then. Until then, I'm just holding my breath hoping they don't f*ck up.

ps - long time no talk. i don't really have time these days to follow the classic thread. if you make it to SF, let me know. my last day is friday - i'm taking a month off. i'll probably freelance at a local agency and work mostly with seattle & portland vendors. i'll be up there a lot. we'll throw back some beers, maybe catch a seahawks game. gotta run, later.
