Rydex Total Assets Update for Thursday, September 21st: Regular Series: SPX Long - NOVA 440 Million SPX Short- URSA 327 Million NDX Long - OTC NDX Short- Arktos 130 Million XAU Precious Metals 42.1 Million Money Market 1,713 BILLION ****************************************** Dynamic Series (200% correlation to market): SPX Long - TITAN 51.0 Million SPX Short- TEMPEST 17.7 Million NDX Long - VENTURE 88.1 Million NDX Short- VELOCITY 60.4 Million ******************************************* SPX Short URSA total assets back up to 325 million Aug 10 levels and after bombshell INTC neg pre-announcement the next level up is 350 million on 7/24 when SPX closed at SPX 1,464. On May 17, total assets were 421 million when SPX closed at SPX 1,447. We are potentially going to see an inversion where short assets finally exceed long assets in SPX. The problem that exists is in NDX where Long assets are at 3 Billion and short assets are at a paltry 130 million. For starters, we need to see NDX short assets get above 200 million and long assets back down to 2.4 Billion before a low is potentially realized.
