Crazyman - RE: "At work we are approaching 6 months of fast and rock solid service from our Slot a 700 MHz NT based server. It has not caused one a single problem for us. There's lot of things folks do with servers that we don't, but we depend on our machine daily and it has been a pleasure to use. I don't think the boss would let me remove it even if I wanted to. Day by day that system has proven itself to me, I'm now a believer."

Anand's mention that the 760 was stable made me feel good about the chipset. I remember people (including you and Dan) said 750 based systems were very stable also. If this is any indication of the future, 760MP should be a solid chipset. I think that as long as AMD servers have a big OEM, like Compaq, backing the server and saying it is a reliable and stable platform (comparable to Intel servers) AMD's entrance won't be too rough. But AMD needs that support first...especially before people start dreaming of 25% of the server market in nine months.
