You know the best part about fishing? Sometimes you actually catch something. :)
Today, while trolling, I was actually able to land a fish and along with french fries, it was worth the effort. But enough about my appetite (and those who know me KNOW that it's big) ;).

Seemed like all the regulars were fishing today so it made for a fun time and a little information:

1. BKP#4 will be using the rig presently at BKP#2, which means the rumor of a November 1st ''spudding'' date is just that.....rumor. The only place I've ever seen that date was a Hilton press release, I believe. It appears that the EHKO rig is going nowhere in the near future, as some had been led to believe.

2. BKP#2 did indeed encounter some parts on the BOP that needed to be replaced. To do that, the drilling crew used plugs that are not removed, but rather drilled through once the BOP was safely repaired. That was accomplished in the past 24 hours and they commenced drilling. After 3 hours it was stopped and they have started coming out of the hole, for a bit change. It should be reasonible to assume that they will be backin the hole and drilling, by Saturday. LHG and SJ should be able to confirm this for us. Another weekend, hiding in the cotton fields eh guys! ;)

3. BKP#3 entered one of those low pressurized zones and the 16.5 mudweight was unable to circulate. I'm sure I heard someone say that this was not unexpected fellas, as the mudweight being used was because of extremely high pressures. I'm way over my head, in explaining a solution but I am assuming that there is a BIG difference in the lost circulation this time........ because it is NOT in the pay zone. Drilling is at a standstill until this problem is corrected and circulation restored. Back to the fields SJ and LHG.

Any expert input (grayhairs, S'n'P etc) would be appreciated.

As always,
