Let me remind your feeble mind that Gore wasn't running for re-election, so for you to slam Gore over this event is stretching the facts.

Physician.. heal thyself...

The fact that the GORE democratic political machine was OVERTURNED by a REPUBLICAN CANDIDATE is quite applicable...

Gore wasn't able to muster enough support in the state that sent him to the Senate for several terms, to convince them to choose his hand-picked successor...

Remember... Gore's UNCLE is a former judge (the one being investigated for drug smuggling allegedly) and was the head of the democratic political machine in Gore's part of Tennessee..

Yes... those folks knew what they were doing, didn't they?

As for who is smarter.... let's not forget that Al Gore's college scores were nothing to brag about either...

But that gets to the heart of the issue... Gore THINKS HE'S SMART... And people who think they are smarter than the rest of us generally try to get away with more shenanigans...

Clinton is a prime example of a man who is just too smart for his own damn good...

Regards,

Ron
