The excruciatingly poor customer service being described on this thread is something that I've encountered with virtually every provider; Sprint, MCI, ATT, et al.

I cringe when my phone bill arrives in the mail each month for it surely means an hours long, numbingly ridiculous process of trying to get the $2,3,4 ... per minute charges resulting from all the cross-carrier, tariff and surcharge BS, etc., straightened out.

One bright side for wireless: I am now at the point where I'm seriously considering going all wireless for my home phone service. And I don't think I'm alone. ; )
