Yes, I heard that rumor about two weeks ago, very real possibility. NXTL and T.

And todays T announcement with LBRT implies that they are "full steam ahead" on the broadband set-top box rollout. Going with LBRT, despite the MSFT "bribe?" deal, was a gutsy call. [I took some profits on LBRT today, since they have run so far so fast.]

Now, if we can assume that T is committed to broadband by todays early signal. . . then we may have ourselves a new SAM. ANTC is a broadband stock that was slammed over the summer as T [their #1 customer] failed to execute. [Please remember that once we call a SAM, we stop mentioning its name publicly, so that we don't "spook a spike".]

However, placing T back on track means that ANTC is WAY undervalued. I mean we are talking about a stock here that is a serious broadband supplier. . .remember, they are the recent "big customer" of our little baby, LightChip. . . . yet get this. . . they have a PE ratio of 6. Not only is ANTC one of the few broadband stocks with earnings, but they are greatly undervalued to the S&P average for Price-To-Earnings ratios, which is currently near 35. So of course, I am starting a long-term small position near 23 1/4. . .and hoping it gets knocked back to 20 1/4 by short-sellers, so we can REALLY load up . . . . I am also considering a position trade on the change of "lighting" . . . and even considering a swing on speculation of an announcement by T that they are "in the game". . . .but only if the volume increases dramatically.
