(PGEO) Paradigm Awarded Largest Ever Gulf-of-Mexico Depth Imaging Data Processing Project by TGS-NOPEC HOUSTON, Sept. 20 /PRNewswire/ -- Paradigm Geophysical Ltd. (Nasdaq: PGEO - news), the leading provider of geoscience software and service solutions to the oil and gas industry, today announced that it has been awarded a multi-million dollar contract by TGS-NOPEC Geophysical Company (OSLO: TGS). The contract, signed today, calls for Paradigm to provide depth-imaging services for an area covering approximately 15,400 square kilometers in the Mississippi Canyon section of the Gulf of Mexico. The first phase of processing, covering approximately 2,700 square kilometers, is scheduled for delivery prior to the Central Gulf of Mexico OCS Lease Sale in March 2001. Additional phases will be delivered approximately every three months thereafter, with the entire project targeted for completion by the end of 2001. I also like the fact that it's been consolidating for quite some time. 207.61.23.98 At 6 1/2 and forward 2001 earnings of .77 it's still very cheap. They've had positive earnings the last two quarters so I don't see much downside risk near term. It's very small though so it's hard to build a build position quickly.
