reits had a heck of a run (relatively speaking) earlier this year so as a whole I think selectivity is more important now than it was. Raising rates tend to be positive for the trusts as building slows and occupancy rises. Except for diversity (not a big motivator to this group) I'd look elsewhere. Been buying telecoms which have been a disaster for the past year. Might take a little patience though. So many were burned in equity offerings in the industry last year they will be slow to leap back in. Once the balance sheet issues are settled and consolidation picks up pace.. MT
