kk. I was made a Sustaining Member of the Republican Party by George Herbert Walker Bush;-))) (Dole tried to get me too ;-) "So here is mud in your eye" I am a volunteer "IN MY SPARE TIME" for Lighthouse Ministries in Lakeland and you would not believe what I have seen. I also am very familiar with the Nursing Home Facilities via my Daughter who is in the Advanced Stages of Multiple Scrolosis. There are so many patients in the Nursing Homes on from 1 to 15 or more Legal Drugs, (most of these patients should not be there since it is much cheaper for the Medicare Program to keep them at home) Our Tax$$ are going to the Gigantic Pharmaceutical Corporations in the biggest Ripoff I have ever seen. The State Programs are poorly funded even though they are given Big$$$$$$$ from the Federal programs. Polk County, Fla was given $85,000 for the disabled Med-Waiver program for 1999 That is a drop in the bucket of what was given this State for just that purpose. I am paying $1,500. each month for 24 hour care for my daughter to keep her at home, thus I must choose to continue to work or deplete my lifetime savings. Now given this Information. Can you READ MY LIPS. I do my share against a lot of odds... Now go visit one of your local Nursing Homes or just talk to a few elderly in the Supermarket and you will get a much clearer picture of what I am saying....
