That is almost as good as your assertion that a baby is not human until it has a conception of itself, and therefore we only mark birth as the "passage to humanity" to avoid disputes. Not quite, though. If the intention was not to mislead, Gore should have phrased it differently. Anyone could have anticipated how people would take it, especially a smart fellow like Al........
