Ray: The surprises should be on the upside... : > Bullish sentiment was below 30% last week... This is where rallies are born... As for those concerned about oil prices; they are actually lower on an inflation adjusted basis than they were 20 years ago... Because of tough global competition most of the short term increase in the price of oil won't be passed along to consumers... The gas pump and home heating are the exceptions... Maybe this will force Congress to take a look at those burdensome gas taxes and reduce them... The Saudis are pumping more oil... In the next 30 days it will be reflected in lower oil prices... The FED is on hold... Who knows, we may begin to hear serious talks regarding rate cuts in the next 6 months... If the market is a discounting mechanism and is supposed to be looking forward 6 to 9 months, we should be seeing one heck of a rally coming... Jim
