Thanks, Dave. The most interesting thing about that link is that oil has broken a 20-year downtrend (world oil prices chart). I did not know that.

Thanks for the site. When that article discussed the deficit, my old friends in the steamship biz confirmed that we are basicly exporting only the lowest paying of cargoes, like waste paper/paper products/tin plate/metal scrap. For example a container of waste paper has an FOB value of $500-1500 while an import container of electronic can range from $400,000-$1,000,000+. Doesnt help our deficit.
