OX: Do some research. SBC is VERY backend loaded for the year. Total numbers now I believe are just over 500k.

In any case, the 3,000 or 4,000 or 7,000 number provided by SBC IR is a DAILY number. We agree on that.

On CPI, valuations are very much up in the air. I think WSTL is being very patient with developing that company before trying to spin it off.

For the sake of argument, with CPI sales pushing $10 mill per quarter, let assume sales of $50 mill per year. With that growth (40%) which could probably be increased with a cash infusion, the market cap out to be upwards of $250 mill (conservatively).

IMHO, CPI is worth $4-5 per share on a VERY conservative basis. ASP's are a BIG deal so the value is probably more.

I am accumulating shares of WSTL both for the value of the DSL business but I also BADLY want a piece of the CPI action which is in it's early infancy while DSL is only in it's infancy.

Also, data modems used to work at 300 baud. Recent versions are up to 56k. That development took 15 years.

DSL modems now operate (for common lines) less that 500k. We'll look for great increases in speed (1 to 2 orders of magnitude) over the next 10 plus years with increasing capabilities such as VoIP and interactive TV.

WSTL is perfectly positioned to take advantage. Price may be weak now but .....

we've got a LONG way to go.
