Briefing.com-- 15:15 ET Read-Rite (RDRT) 9 17/32 +15/32 (+5.2%): Has traded as much as 12% higher on the session after company's CEO made upbeat presentation at the Banc of America Securities Investment conference. CEO also discussed the possibility of taking public the company's recently formed optical components unit.... volume 6 mln; intraday high 10 1/16; float 53.3 mln.

Thanks for the input on MVIS this morning Zeeve.. I hate hate HATE when the market is poor and you get one of those 'hype prs' that the market just isnt interested in on that particular day.. (atcually, not fair to say hype PR but I think you know what I mean) Set my stop at 39 11/16 JUST in case the market did that sharp rebound.. Actually held that price for the whole morning I think, no? but MVIS was a let down for me :( Then of course there was my MWAV buy at 17 9/16.. Bought only half the size I wanted to because of market conditions.. smart move.. but of course, in 5 minutes the stock trades at 20 1/2.. : ( : ( folks- I have this black cloud just sitting over my house.. and its driving me iNsAnE!
