May the $5.25 price rise be the first blast in a resurgence of free market price activity in the gold market. I wonder how the regulators who have watched this manipulation of the price for the last several years will rationalize the explosive conditions they have allowed to arise once the genie is completely out of control. May this be the first step to $600/ounce gold and the death of Barrick as a viable hedge fund.
