Guess I'm gonna have to spend more time
working and playing golf.

It's getting really tough to make
an easy buck in this pos market.

CATS is showing some strength here
and with luck they won't take another
hit. Either way CATS will hvae another
record quarter and if they do take a big hit
I'll go back on margin to pick up a few more.

I believe that we enter the 2nd stage of the bear market.....the "4 hoursemen" are being slaughtered... a no-growth environment can turn the whole nasdaq into an assortment of value stocks" but at what level????

Deutsche telekom trades at $32.5 today`, off some more $$$ since we discussed it. Should I cover? Should I short more?

The funny thing about the market is the way it is shaped by participants, not news. They determine who is buying and selling. But they let themselves get psyched out by the background noise and create self-fulfilling prophecies.

This is similar to the observation that the market is a manifestation of mass psychology, the collective responses of all the participants.

The Intel news will upset much of the complacency with which many have been investing in large cap tech stocks with the naive assumption that they were both bulletproof and foolproof. It will also probably create some wonderful bargains for those with the insight and courage to take to take advantage of them while others are trying to abandon ship.

Count me in buddy. Although most of the time I wish I was on ANY beach with or without a Net connection.
(Although some good aged rum and nice scenery of the opposite gender type wouldn't hurt either).
Looks like we are in for a rocky ride tomorrow.
Best,
