Not to state the obvious, but intel missing is simply huge. That plus OIL (big problem that could crash the market)will bring NAZ down 200 points by 10:30. The real question is-is it a buying opp.?

Re: Tuesdays Bear trap & Armchair Q-backing...
I haven't been on the porch lately so if this was already pointed out than I guess I'm a little slow.

I was working on a jobsite Tuesday and when I heard about the big close on the Naz I suspected a bear trap, I just didn't think it would happen this soon. My gut tells me that this INTC crap is only the trap half closing. In fact it may not be a trap at all. Rather it could be a clamp that has just begun to tighten down.

I will be waiting a few more days before jumping into this market. I've managed to stay 50% cash all summer so a few more day waiting will not hurt. I've begun to learn that patience is more valuable than any amount of money.

I'm heading to Vermont next week to golf in the shadow of Golden Sugar Maples. It should be fun. I think I'll place a bunch of ridiculously low limit orders on QCOM, SUNW, INTC SNDK, & EMC. When I get home I'll see what I managed to grab.

This market is amazing! if the MM's on Wall Street played like this in Las Vegas, they would be arrested!
Have the inmates finally taken over the asylum?

I think so.

Good luck all!

Timmy

I have cash in one account and margin debt in the other. What would you buy?
Glad I didn't buy back my SEBL cov calls. Glad I covered all my ntap today.
But sorry I have all those sold puts.
Oh well, it will be an interesting day, wish I didn't have so much planned away from the computer.
