John -- it was a good post. Oil is only a concern to me to the extent that it raises the possibility of recession and the slower earnings growth caused by the slowdown which in turn causes lower multiples and based on lower earnings -- taken together, stocks can get "hammered" and still not be "undervalued". Perhaps semis are the canary in this coal mine. Those who called the top on semis deserve credit for a good call. I still own LSI and expect a blowout quarter -- hope springs eternal. Good luck.

The Intel warning looks rather bad - a lot of stocks down after hours:

toplist.island.com

INTC currently down 11 at 50.
