AMD....posters on the AMD thread have emailed and recieved in return emails from the company that they are not in the business of putting out PR's unless they are disclosing material facts. Pretty huffy sounding to me.

Anyways, I also added AMD at 23 3/4 AH.

Guess with everything happening local and nationally this week, its time for Gold stocks!!!

NEM, FCX are two good ones if so inclined.

Market Update:

The SPX is sitting at 1422, just a couple of points from the significant 1420 level.

(SP0Z at 4 was just shy of 1470, the SPX was 1449. The SP0Z in afterhours is trading at 1443, or 27 points lower. 27 points from the 1449 on the SPX, puts it at 1422.

The RED Trend is the Oct99/Mar00 trend line.
=BROKEN tomorrow

Yellow Line (1420) was Resistance for July99 & November99, and then support for July 00 dip. Back further, you can see the 1420 line can be moved from up or down VERY quickly.

Purple Line is for reference, the Dec'99 Close.

Rande et al:

Would you (Do you)plan on riding out the storm if you were/are heavily invested at this time? I feel like trying to sell now to buy lower could be a big mistake. But - then again, there is always the other side - a huge drop.

(Heck I though AMD at 26+ was a good deal the other day - and I thought 27 was a good deal today - I pulled the trigger on the last of my cash this afternoon. I thought I had done so well keeping cash available for the entire summer. Can you say ouch?)

Any thoughts?
