Chic> INTC probably wouldn't have had to warn today if it weren't for its dependance on Rambus memory

Gee I had thought it was mainly due to the agressive marketing and R/D at AMD?? I guess the Europeans can't take the "RICH TASTES" of Rambus??

hmmm?

Come on Chic, you are reaching deep. Maybe you also care to explain why AMD is down to $23 from $47 and it doesn't even use Rambus memory? Could it be that memory makes no difference if the European economy is not doing too well and that Europeans, with 300% higher gas costs than Americans and much lower currency (euro), don't care to buy a PC (no matter if it has SDRAM or not) but rather put food on the table?

Let's stick to reality folks. Leave fantasy to Disney. ;-)

Chic, <INTC probably wouldn't have had to warn today if it weren't for its dependance on Rambus memory.>

Good point. Thank God AMD isn't being dragged down by Rambus, or else it would be trading at much lower than its current sky-high price of 24.
