Jimbo,

absolutely. You should buy back any call that will as a result of the sell off lose it's intrinsic value and hence YOUR PROTECTION to the downside. If you do not do this, you are simply saying - I have no protection on the downside and only OPPORTUNITY LOST on the upside.

I'm not picking on you, but didn't you have a plan about what to do with your covered positions in the case of another downdraft?
