It is easy to get out, but knowing when to get back in is the hard part. Black Monday we went ahead and invested in some mutual funds only because since the $ was right the friday before, then 3:00 that monday the $ was better.

That is not the way I play it, I am actually long RMBS (some at $84 and some at $79) and i may very well take a loss here if it seems that the after hours levels (and particularly $75) do not hold. There is always a Monday and possibly lower entry prices.
