Market in a best case scenario will open lock limit down on the futures (which I believe is where they are at now). And then it's time to buy, buy and buy. At least I am. Hope I'm not wrong as I'm going into the abyss head first. MM's should gap down as far as possible as there will be loads of market sells orders.

Question-- What does the thread think the best bouncers will be. I still undecided if it's worth trying the chips or going with other sectors.

My list so far is veco, qlgc, emlx, sunw, sndk, ntap, ldp, cmrc, mrvc, adct, bvsn, lbrt(nice eps tonight).

Hank:

You've got that right. This isn't the first time INTC has prewarned but we don't have the valuations we had then nor the fear thats been in the market (at least I've had FEAR).

I still think the administration will do all in its power to keep the market up through the elections. Gore today on releasing the oil (bad long term move IMO, especially if it doesn't aleviate the problem) and Summers puming liquidity.

I though chipster would be strong till 1st quarter. Zeev's TA on INTC were right on this one.

I'm not short but glad I've moved to some of the drugs and tanker companies. Natural Gas next.
