Can you imagine if the Democrats win another four years, and perhaps take back the Senate! The next President might appoint up to FOUR Supreme Court Justices. FOUR, FOUR, FOUR, FOUR. And..... a bunch of Federal Judges. If they appoint "moderate" judges, as they should, it will set the course of moderation for decades to come.

Otherwise, we could get FOUR dogmatic, fundamentalist judges, who would be very divisive and cause much misery for American families, for decades to come. There is a lot at stake this November!

While New York and California look like they are in the Gore column, the situation in Florida still looks too close to call, unless I've missed something recently. Esp. with Jeb (the smarter of the Bush brothers, imo) sitting in the Governor's chair. I believe it will probably end up in the Bush camp. Missouri seems to reflect the national mood quite well historically - I would watch the race there closely.
