Just took a look at the futures. Whew, been awhile since I've seen those large negatives!
Judging by the runup on other currencies compared to US dollar, if it continues, gold may jump earlier than I thought:

In any case, I've got some free time finally, now through most of next week and sure glad I made some maneuvering room in the account last few days!

Whoda thunk INTC could goose gold?? Will gold finally turn from its Forsaken status??

In Big Bulls absence I posted the Asian Charts earlier today.

And those markets look REAL ugly after opening not long ago.

Let's start with Japan:

Hong Kong is even worse:

And Taiwan is down over 4% as of 11:15 PM EDT:

But South Korea, the pride of the IMF bailouts takes the cake. Down over 5% so far!

At this rate, Europe ought to have quite an opening and then.....
