Snake Eyes: You are correct to a certain extent. The message is the same, but you must hammer the message home, hammer it home, hammer it home ... rather than hammer on Clinton. That's where the GOP faithful were misled by the likes of Hyde and Burton and Armey. (Gingrich's "Contract for America" was a big success in '94 because it was 100 percent issue-based.) Jesse "The Body Governor" Ventura pointed out (correctly) on Larry King last night that the Repubs should have been preaching "less government" rather than continuously attacking Clinton in Philly.
