ADC and NEXL Announce Value-Added Reseller Agreement

ServicePoint#&153; Product Enables NEXL to Add Another Level of Network Service
MINNEAPOLIS – September 25, 2000 – ADC (Nasdaq: ADCT; www.adc.com), a leading global supplier of fiber optics, network equipment, software and integration services for broadband, multiservice networks, today announced that NEXL Network Systems, one of the fastest growing information technology providers in the country has become a value-added reseller for ADC’s access products. As a result of this relationship, NEXL will distribute and support ADC’s family of ServicePoint™ solutions throughout the United States.

In today’s environment where it is a continuous challenge to stay ahead of explosive data growth, ServicePoint Service Delivery Units (SDUs) and ServicePoint Manager software solve the pressing needs of managing wide area networks. Whether networks are managed in-house or outsourced to a service provider under a managed service agreement, ServicePoint provides the ability to leverage value-added services, gain visibility of WAN usage and performance, and control WAN access by applications.

Stand-alone DSU/CSUs and ServicePoint Key to Customer Success

Unlike router vendors who have integrated DSU/CSU options that offer minimal terminate, monitor and control functionality and limited ability to reduce long-term operational cost, ServicePoint SDUs enable delivery of value-added services and increased network management and control functionality that help enterprise managers better manage WAN costs and performance.
