Is there an effect of INTC drop on CTXS business?

I think CTXS as part of the whole market getting slammed because of INTC warning seems crazy but nobody ever said the market was rational in the short term.

INTC produces a commodity item (CPUs) and there is competition in that space now (AMD) and so their revenues aren't right now what they might be. INTC will lower prices, AMD will fold, DELL will be able to sell PCs more cheaply and life will go on. Every college freshman in the world will still buy a PC.

The market is nervous right now. The Euro is too low mostly because of the price of petroleum. This has affected Europe more than North America because they produce no oil in Europe.

The price of oil will go down because either the Saudi will stop whining and increase production, or the US will tap its strategic reserve which will make it a pretty penny since the reserves were purchased when oil was VERY cheap.

Just as the market was looking for a reason to drop for the past month, it is now looking for a reason to go up.

CTXS is way oversold. They have not warned, so I assume (and keep my fingers crossed) that earnings and other metrics (revenue, licenses etc) are as expected.

PS Where are the guys on the thread? There has been almost no action on what was probably the most intelligent thread on the internet. I have been hanging around the Yahoo CTXS forum. PAINFUL.
