James, Many Jew have said " Blessed is he that cometh in the name of the Lord", but over zealous people refuse to recognize these converts, and continue to treat them as vipers. That is anti-Semitism, of the worst kind. ~H~

Santiago,
Typical response. You can not justify Luther so you attack the one exposing him.

<<Instead of trying to put the heat upon Luther, who indeed did change the course of Church history. His courage brought in the Protestant religion and freed many people from being taxed on forgiveness and salvation by the greedy Cardinals and the Pope. >>

Maybe you should build a statue of Luther in your yard to worship and I will worship Jesus as a Jewish believer. Luther is a reason that I do not want to be called a Christian.

<<Now Jesus wasted no time in labeling the Jews as hypocrites, vipers and such. I would say that maybe you needed to live in that time to make judgments that Luther was a sinner>>

Some of the Jews James, DUH, Jesus was not a racist like you. I say maybe you should have lived in the time the Jews lived that you persecute continually to make judgments on them. A reminder, you are not Jesus so be careful what you say. In time you have gone from a sensitive caring Christian to a student Nazi. This is a major warning signal to preterism.
Luthers words reveal him to be a sinner that claimed to know the Lord and maybe the Jews rejected his message because they could sense his hatred as I am sure they can yours. Hypocrisy is a label that should be used for Luther too. He swore continuously and may have put Jews away from Jesus and then blamed them. I can see his valiant attempts to save them were similar to what we see here from you Chris and Emile. Thanks but no thanks it is shallow and full of hate and pride. Since Luther claimed to know Jesus so closely and people hail him as a great Christian Father then there is NO excuse for his behavior and says to the world that hating people when you follow Jesus is OK and even respected enough to build Churches in your name. The Jews you condemn by misapplying scriptures do not know Jesus and are not accountable where you and Luther are accountable for every careless word you speak in His name.

Re: "Now Jesus wasted no time in labeling the Jews as hippocrites, vipers and such. I would say that maybe you needed to live in that time to make judgements that Luther was a sinner."

Matthew 23:
26 Thou blind Pharisee, cleanse first that which is within the cup and platter, that the outside of them may be clean also.
27 Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye are like unto whited sepulchres, which indeed appear beautiful outward, but are within full of dead men's bones, and of all uncleanness.
28 Even so ye also outwardly appear righteous unto men, but within ye are full of hypocrisy and iniquity."

I don't think that Jesus condemned the Jews as a group. Rather, it was that subset of the Jews who simply followed religious customs and traditions without really following or worshiping the True God.

This relates to my prior post on this thread.

Best wishes,
