Come to think of it...with tomorrow being a Friday (and few willing to hold positions over the weekend)...we may have to wait until Monday to see which stocks come back, and how this market is going to swallow this news..

John - Given the recent statements from DELL management (cloudy though they actually were) I am inclined to think they will make the numbers. Still, I am now holding a bunch of Nov calls... probably will sell Feb puts today. I don't see anything in the near term that says DELL should be under 34... and in any event, if the stock is put to me at some level close to 30 (discounting for premium) I would be pretty comfortable. Today may be a shopping spree for me.

It will be interesting to see how much of the stock was bought by Dell this morning and how much shorts taking the profit.
