The first time when I went to N. York with a friend (who happened to be driving at that time) it scared the living daylights out of me. At that time I did not know driving. But when I returned after a year armed with a driving license, I knew what to expect. I think the key is to be attentive to driver in front of you, behind you, next to you and *next to next to* you. I found it safe to drive faster out there. And I think I would be considered the last one to qualify as an aggressive driver. Having said that, I would not like to be in a situation to drive in such traffic everyday. If I need a kick, I guess I will go and drive round the beltway one of these days, if the gas prices come down <ggg>
