I have to agree. I don't like this market going forward.

However, electric utility stocks may be all right except if the reality that high oil prices cannot help many of the fuel powered companies in their efforts to get rate increases in a cold winter with the public clamoring about high costs of both heating oil and rates to compliant PUCs.

Election politics is not going to help either with some candidates pressing for quick remedies and blame calling. But utilities have always been a safe haven during times of stress for the rest of the Market. That's the rub of it. There's so much mixed opinion confusion about where to let one's money ride that I believe most of it is going to wind up in cash.
