Chris, If you mean what you say about those of us not found in Christ on the day of judgement not going to Heaven, then we agree on that. There has been a lot of discussion about certain people considering themselves to be of the "elect" and "chosen" to go to Heaven, while others can not get in regardless of what they believe. I agree that deeds cannot get anyone into Heaven but, insist that the Bible says that any person that believes in Jesus Christ as their Lord, and Savior, can go to the Kingdom of God through His Son. Along with the belief goes a responsibility to make every possible attempt to live one's life according to the teachings of Christ. Those that merely give lip service to Christianity have no chance of entering the Kingdom, IMO.

My ears are very accustomed to the truth because life has beaten the truth into me with many years of adversity, and I do not profess that I am bound for Heaven because I have been a sinner, and still am a sinner in some respects, and all I can do is repent of my sins, and pray for the Grace of God, His Mercy, and His Forgiveness. Because of this grace, mercy, and forgiveness, I do believe that there is a chance for me, no matter how remote it may be, but do not believe that any are chosen to enter Heaven regardless of what they believe, or how they live their lives. ~H~

Isaiah 32:17 - "And the work of righteousness shall be peace; and the effect of righteousness quietness and assurance for ever."

Acts 17:30 - "Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent,
31 because He has appointed a day on which He will judge the world in righteousness by the Man whom He has ordained. He has given assurance of this to all by raising Him from the dead."

Colossians 2:2 - "That their hearts might be comforted, being knit together in love, and unto all riches of the full assurance of understanding, to the acknowledgement of the mystery of God, and of the Father, and of Christ;
3 In whom are hid all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."

1 Thessalonians 1:5 - "For our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and in much assurance; as ye know what manner of men we were among you for your sake."

Hebrews 6:10 - "For God is not unjust to forget your work and labor of love which you have shown toward His name, in that you have ministered to the saints, and do minister.
11 And we desire that each one of you show the same diligence to the full assurance of hope until the end,
12 that you do not become sluggish, but imitate those who through faith and patience inherit the promises."

Hebrews 10:21 - "And having an high priest over the house of God;
22 Let us draw near with a true heart in full assurance of faith, having our hearts sprinkled from an evil conscience, and our bodies washed with pure water.
23 Let us hold fast the profession of our faith without wavering; (for he is faithful that promised;)"

Best wishes,
