BTW did you see the article I posted re foreign sales and where AMD and Intel are in the ranking?

I noticed that AMD gets only 40% of their sales from USA, while Intel gets 43%. I think it has to do with AMD selling lower price chips (K6). It will probably change, as AMD moves majority of their chips from low end to mainstream and high end.

I am assuming that Americans spend more money on higher end computers overseas.

In any case, so much for the argument that the lack of infrastructure hurt AMD in Q3.

As far as I am concerned, the argument is still true. It hurt Q2 - delayed revenue from Socket chips, and now, the lack of appropriate platform for Duron makes the chip itself (Duron) less attractive to buyers.
