Not meaningless at all. If minorities achieve "normalization" in this country, and do not feel the need to cling to the federal government as a protector, it is all over.......

Do you mean the same party that passed the 13th amendment ending slavery over the objection of nearly every Democrat? Do you mean the same party which passed the 19th amendment, over severe Democratic opposition, which gave women the freedom to vote? Do you mean the same party which passed the civil rights bill of 1964, over the objection of many Democrats including Al Gore's father?? Do you mean that party? Now Democrats, stop standing at the school room door with your spiritual leader George Wallace and give minority children the choice of a decent education. Michael
