Sorry for failing to give credit where due - I should have known.
Not "particularly" unfair, perhaps, but there are too many voices that are too casually intolerant.
I personally hope that the Powell's and McCain's and Cohen's of the party do become the more dominant voice within the GOP, as they do emphasize the common interest in America, rather than as hyphenated interests to be feared and attacked. I didn't view the Republican convention's showcasing of its few resident minority members as pandering so much as it was image without substance, another campaign commercial without real meaning.
