How many x32 configurations do you see in PCs? That should tell you something. And I'm sure you know why you don't see them. And using one of your beloved phrases...DDR is dead dead dead ;-)

DDR chips are shipping on graphics cards in the x32 size

Many posts ago, someone suggested that the x32 parts are very expensive. Do you have a link to prices on these parts? I was not able to verify or refute the suggestion.
