C-Cor.net's (CCBL) board approved the repurchase of up to 2 million common shares.
In a press release Monday, the company said it will make the purchases on the open market and in privately negotiated or other transactions.
C-cor, which makes network distribution products for two-way hybrid fiber coaxial networks, will use its available capital to fund the purchases.
The company has about 34 million diluted shares outstanding.
C-cor had 1999 net income of $15.5 million, or 46 cents a diluted share, on sales of $281.1 million. C-cor closed Friday on the Nasdaq at $13.63 a share.

I guess the BOD considers the shares a bargain at these prices.
