Good Mourning All:

The good news is that I got my computer back from Dell. Great service department.
The bad news is getting caught with my pants down having my "assets" exposed.
It's like a death watch here.
While perception is far worse then the reality of the situation, as recent "corrections" have shown, this will most certainly take it's toll on the market.

If I recall corrrectly, Just before the introduction of the pentium chip, there was a big deal made about the slowdown in PC sales which all the the '486 configuration. The markets reacted sharply lower on these fears. Seems that everyone was waiting for the pentiums to come out. In this case, with the pentium 4's coming out, you will be dealing with a 64 bit system as opossed to a 32 bit system. I cannot believe that this situation can be long lived. This represents a tremendous buying opportunity, that is if you had the money available. One of the "problems" with threads like this is that everyone talks about when to get into a position, not when to sell, unless one is forced to sell as a result of margin calls, etc... Another problem is that today is friday, many people may not keep their money in the market over the weekend because of FUD.

Opinions anyone?

David

Hi HG48: Critters doing great. 5 baby coons and 4 baby possums all doing fine. The baby possums sit on a limb and look in the family room. I take cookies out and feed them while they sit there on the limb. Hand it too them on a tray.

Spoiled babies....

Still averaging 875 cookies per week. We've increased the pounds of dog food, however, and I'm not sure how much we go through a week. I think about 75 pounds.

Have a good weekend. And stop listening to that doomsday guy... what's his name..... Brinker....
