Peter, I would be interested in your thinking here, vis a vis your choice of writing at-the-money calls in lieu of out-of-the-money and as far as going out four months, in lieu of multiple writes using nearer-term calls. I've been going back and forth on this and my own intuition says it is a case by case judgment call, but I do wonder how others analyze covered call strategies.
