Microsoft shares 'sneeze'
--9:56 am - By Tomi Kilgore

Microsoft (MSFT: news, msgs) is falling $1.75 to $62.44, but well above its intraday low of $60.59. Analyst George Godfrey at ING Barings titled a research note to clients: "Intel catches a cold, Microsoft will surely sneeze." However, he pointed out that his current revenue model of Microsoft already reflects the "challenging environment" in the PC market, particulary in Europe, adding he believes "now would absolutely the wrong time to sell" its stock. Godfrey reiterated his "strong buy" rating and $135 price target. Regarding Intel's (INTC: news, msgs) projection of sequential revenue growth of 3 to 5 percent, he noted that was still more than what is expected for Microsoft. Therefore, he termed Intel's warning a "disappointment," rather than a "disaster."
