Affordable Homes of America, Inc. Announces Its Plans to Market a Replacement Telephone Pole

LAS VEGAS, Sep 20, 2000 /PRNewswire via COMTEX/ -- Affordable Homes of America, Inc. (OTC Bulletin Board: AHOA chart, msgs) ("Affordable Homes"), announces that the Company has just finished preliminary testing on a replacement telephone pole. These test results indicate that our Z MIX telephone pole is 35 % the weight of a concrete telephone pole and is significantly stronger. The tests also indicate that the Z MIX pole is 50 % heavier than the wood telephone pole and 20 % stronger.

"Company technicians have been working with several design shapes and have now determined that the old standby (round) to be the best for universal acceptance," states President and CEO Merle Ferguson. "They also agreed upon a 12" x 16" rectangular that would be best used in high wind areas. We also note that our telephone pole is non-conductive and fireproof. The non-conductive feature will be a great safety relief to the linemen. This development is another step in the new direction of our Company and upon final testing, will allow us to move forward into another multi-billion dollar industry."
