Auric, Any truth to the rumor that there was a mosh pit in front of Cheryl Crow? I find it hard to believe but a member of the braintrust returned today with a few good stories from the coast. Lets call him Deep Throat. I pretty much spit my coffee out all over the Polycom phone (PLCM:wayyyy long-my only good stocktoo) on the conference table when he claimed he fed Veverka the dope that showed up in that Barrons piece this weekend. Apparently the longs don't believe the crap coming out of the company either but think they can keep the stock afloat and a squeeze on into the christmas shopping season and then kick it out to the idiot mini-mo's on main street. Buyer beware cuz Bezos is a clown. I won't be happy unless he checks out like Gene Hackman did at the end of "Unforgiven". I gotta go to bed now cuz Don Hays has a breakfast meeting tomorrow at 7:15 at the St. Regis. Why do old folks love to schedule such early morning meetings? I am going over there with a sock and duct tape in an attempt to shut him up because he is as bearish as it gets. Apparently he doesn't know a bear market won't work for me as I have a developed a lifestyle to which I have grown accustomed. Another year or two of this shell game and I figured I am good for a big house in the country with little sheep running around on the lawn just like Leona Helmsley had in that infamous "60 Minutes" piece.
