the 'they' are the big funds (mainly Fido and Janus) who have the most to lose from this due to their huge positions in the overpriced tech darlings, and of course the brokers. if you have watched this market for almost 18 years as i have done you simply know that there's a fair amount of collusion going on, and that it has progressively worsened over recent years. of course i can't PROVE it, but the circumstantial evidence is good enough for me. after all, a lot is at stake...the stock market has become THE main economic activity in the US. 3,6 times more stocks are traded than goods and services produced...mufu assets are 43% of GDP...the vested interests are many, and they're mighty.
