Wendy- The wireless Local Area Network, in the context we were kicking around recently, is not the same thing as the "wireless LAN" Plaintree purports to offer. We're talking about picking up a laptop with a radio antenna and walking it around the house(or building), while staying connected to a server within the 100 feet range. The fiberless "wireless LAN" that Plaintree offers is not of this nature. Plaintree's "LAN" is used to connect buildings together over a greater distance using fixed beams of light. -MikeM(From Florida)
