How about the shareholders? Are the shareholders irrelevant in all these mining profits you speak of?

E. I respect your opinion that it is the object of miners to produce gold at a profit, but it is the object of the owners of these mines to make a profit from their shares. Please do not take my remarks as a personal attack on yourself. I'm simply stating what has been obvious to any shareholder of almost any goldminer over the last three years. Hedging and leasing has contributed to the decline in gold prices, and the two go hand in hand imo.
