Pravin: "With the huge drip off of K6-2 systems for sale at retail in Q3, I think there is zero percent chance that AMD will make the 7 million unit target. I think 6.2 is more likely. But, the Athlon number is much more important, as it represents the future. Still, I don't think they will make that number either. I hope to eat these words." Comment: I'm expecting a 4th successive record breaking eps on Oct. 11...and I'm expecting AMD to make their 3.6 million Athy target...K6's are anybody's guess...I also expect that the today's "bad air" will have dissipated by Oct. 11 and that AMD's outstanding performance reflected in Q3 earnings and reinforced by an upbeat conference call will be in stark contrast to that which we heard from its competitor last evening!!!
